Sunday 9:30AM | 5:30PM
God commands everyone publicly to honor, worship, and serve Him because He alone is worthy of all praise (1 Chronicles 16:23-31). Therefore, we gather to worship with the main purpose of praising Him from the heart and that we might be instructed from His Word.
We worship God on Sunday, believing this is the day God has set apart for this purpose. We gather for worship twice on the Lord’s Day.
Because God is so great and glorious, we worship God with reverence and respect, which reflects our consciousness of being in His holy presence (Isaiah 6:3).
Central in our worship services is the preaching of the Gospel, by which we are instructed in the truth of God’s Word. Other elements of Biblical worship are praying and singing. In our worship services we sing only the Psalms. In accordance with Scripture, we also keep the sacraments by baptizing our children and celebrating the Lord’s Supper.
Believing that our children are a gift from God to be instructed in the fear of the Lord, our children worship with us. The Holy Spirit uses the preaching of the Word to save us and our children. Therefore, our children must be present in the worship services.
Besides our regular worship services twice each Sunday, we have these special worship services throughout the year: Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, Ascension Day, Pentecost, Prayer Day, Thanksgiving Day, Old Years and New Year’s Day.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
