The book of Proverbs teaches the wisdom of Jesus Christ for parenting through Solomon’s instruction of his own son. Proverbs is a manual for covenant parenting. In this sermon series, we learn that the heart of parenting is teaching the fear of the Lord and that this fear of the Lord applies to all aspects of life. Proverbs provides specific, Holy Spirit inspired, parenting instruction on friendship, wisdom, work, finances, giving, discipline, sexual purity, anger, fear and more.
